Italian U23 Star Francesco De Fabiani Announces Switch To Salomon
Fresh off the heels of the announcement that Canadian Alex Harvey will switch to Salomon skis, up and coming Italian star Francesco De Fabiani has also announced that he will be making the switch from Fischer to Salomon.
De Fabiani announced the news on Twitter, saying "I’m glad to announce that I will continue my #RoadToPyongChang with the @SalomonSports family". He has previously used Fischer boots, bindings and skis.
At 23 years old, De Fabiani is a rising star on the Italian national team, and is known for his exceptional distance skiing, especially in classic technique. He finished 12th Overall on the World Cup last season and 9th in the Tour de Ski, while also dominating the U23 standings. The youngster also has 3 World Cup podiums to his name, including a win in the 15km classic in Lahti in March of 2015.
